Olá, o tivemos que desligar os servidores samba aqui na empresaeste final de semana. Sendo que hoje nao consigo acessar as pastas compartilhadas, nao sei o que houve!!! quando acesso do windows dá: "o caminho da rede nao foi encontrado". Acho que o samba deu pau, pois quando dou o comando: samba restart, aparece a mensagem: start-stop-daemon: warning: failed to kill 4796: No such process. Alguem pode me dar uma dica?

qual distro estão usando?
já verificou se o serviço do samba não esta carregado?

Opa campeao...

Execute o comando ´testparm´ para verificar a sintaxe do arquivo smb.conf

Verifique se a porta 137,138, 139 e 445 estao abertas com o comando ´netstat -antp´

Caso continue o erro verifique o arquivo de log do samba

estou usando o ubuntu server 8.04.1. dei o comando top e nao aparece o serviço do samba

Verifique os seguintes arquivos de log:

syslog.log
messages.log
log.smbd

Poste aí se tiver alguma dúvida.
